Since coming up with the sunburst design last year, I’ve been dreaming of making it into a hairpin. After several drafts that just weren’t hitting right, I landed on this one and fell in love. It’s shape calls to mind a tiny goddess, with curves and personality all her own.
Each hairpin is hand formed and like its wearers, no two are exactly the same. This hair pin features square sterling wire surrounded by a halo of handcut and individually soldered sterling rays. Its then oxidized and then finished with a high shine polish. This particular pin has been made a little lighter than its peers. Its still sturdy enough for most types and thicknesses but its a better option for those with finer hair.
