About Avari Copp

Hi! I’m Avari, the owner, artist and maker or Reed + Rush. I was born and raised in Northern Arizona and have been in love with Southwestern style since day one. My metalsmithing journey started in 2015 when a purchase pick up with a local artist lead to an invitation to try my hand at jewelry making. Stamping my first piece felt like coming home and I’ve been passionately in love with the art of stamp work every since. I built a full studio in my home shortly after and in 2021 I left my career in corporate retail to make my passion project my full time gig. I share my little mountain home with my 2 pups and my wonderful boyfriend Greg.

The Story Behind Reed + Rush

Reed + Rush is named for my grandmother Joanne Reed and my great-grandmother Eunice Rush. These two baddies embodied discipline and creativity and along with my own mama taught me that there’s nothing a little elbow grease, patience and a healthy dose of gumption can’t accomplish. These 3 women have always offered a deep well of encouragement and inspiration for me and it’s in their honor that I create jewelry to celebrate the journey of finding your joy.

I believe that everyone has a right to feel beautiful and authentic in their own skin and since starting in retail over 10 years ago, I’ve made it my mission to help people accomplish just that. My pieces are created to adorn the wonder that is you and provide a handmade option for expressing yourself through personal style.
