Since coming up with the sunburst design last year, I’ve been dreaming of making it into a hairpin. After several drafts that just weren’t hitting right, I landed on this one and fell in love. It’s shape calls to mind a tiny goddess, with curves and personality all her own.
Each hairpin is hand formed and like its wearers, no two are exactly the same. This particular hair pin features lush and vibrant orange Mexican Fire Opal surrounded by a halo of hand cut and individually soldered sterling rays. Its then oxidized and then finished with a high shine polish and signature maker’s mark.
