Recently I fell in love with hand making sterling beads. There’s something so meditative about the process of stamping the beads, drilling out the center, shaping and dooming the circle and then lining up halves to be soldered. It just feels so functional.
For this statement necklace, I handcrafted the beads and paired them with gorgeous sky blue turquoise. All silver components are polished to a high shine and the beads have been oxidized to display the stamp work. The necklace is 18.5″ long plus a 2″ extender and includes a sterling silver s-hoop clasp.
