Every year something at the Tucson Gem show takes me by surprise and its love at first sight. This year, that thing was fire opal beads. While I’ve been setting fire opal stones in my work for years, I’d never seen the beads in person before. Their ombre pattern and warm glow were so undeniably Southwestern and I just adore them. To add even more Arizona charm, I combined the sun kissed fire opal with high grade Emerald Valley turquoise for the perfect balance of fire and earth. I topped it off with 5 handcrafted sundance charms to create one my favorite necklace designs ever.
It can be worn alone or stacked with your other R+R pieces. It includes a 2″ sterling silver extender that makes it adjustable between 16-18″ and is finished with a signature R+R makers tag.
